Landscape Architecture

LCA provides a full range of landscape design services delivered by a team of highly qualified and experienced landscape professionals. Whether the project involves a private residential garden, a commercial development, or public open space, LCA supports clients in navigating local authority planning requirements while translating design concepts into practical, high-quality landscape outcomes.

The team delivers creative and site-responsive landscape solutions that enhance outdoor environments across both urban and rural contexts. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, functionality, and visual quality, LCA designs landscapes that strengthen the relationship between people and their surroundings.

LCA’s landscape specialists work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and planners, integrating closely with in-house arboricultural and ecological expertise to develop coordinated landscape strategies. These services support both Outline and Full Planning Applications, ensuring a cohesive and informed design approach.

Working alongside developers and design teams, LCA also addresses local authority planning conditions, including hard and soft landscape requirements, run-off / percolation specs and fully native planting plans. This ensures the efficient discharge of planning conditions and pre-commencement requirements, facilitating smooth project delivery from design through to completion.

Projects > Greenpark

The bigger overall scheme picture could be zoomed in a little better to have less blank space at the bottom.

Greenpark is an innovative residential development designed by our team. The brief was to create a community brought together by pedestrian priority public spaces. Pedestrian permeability and legibility were given priority over vehicular access creating multiple “Home Zone” spaces where residents of all ages can enjoy congregating. The pedestrian priority approach creates safe spaces and promotes walking while reducing vehicular permeability.

Projects > Waterford City Redevelopment Scheme

This urban redevelopment scheme is one of which we are justifiably most proud. Building on previous beautiful upgrades to the city such as pedestrianised zones and the John Roberts Square. Our scheme drew inspiration from these interventions in the city and expanded pedestrian priority spaces in the city using the same hand crafted materials and native plantings.

“They were a pleasure to deal with and changes made by myself to the original job spec were completed without fuss”
